Description: 1998Alfa Ideal 5th. wheel, 31 foot, double slide, model ID31RL. A microwave, TV, radio and video player are in the trailer. In floor heating and A/C. There is no generator included. This trailer has been remounted on a professionally built, full length frame that extends forward under the overhead. That area is decked over to carry a Suzuki quad. (not included) A shock absorbing tongue with a pintel hitch attaches to the truck. Running gear under the trailer is two six thousand pound, slipper spring, Dexter axles with oil bath bearings. Tires are double steel belted 235/85/R16, load range E. All of the original axles, spring hangers, tires and wheels and 5th. wheel pin box etc. are included if a new owner wishes to convert the trailer back to its original configuration.1998 Volvo Truck Tractor, model VNL64T w/ Cummins M11, select 350/400 diesel w/ a Rockwell 10 speed transmission. Rear drive axles are configured w/ the front axle being adrive through unit with interlock. Ratio is 2.91 to 1. All tires are 10.00 X 22.5, caps on the drivers and new Toyo radials on the steering axle w/ 18000 miles on them. The original commercial 5th wheel has been removed and a steel, moderate ramp bed, has been mounted to accommodate the dingy. The bed can be easily removed with a forklift.This truck is in excellent original condition, fleet maintained for its first 354k miles. It now has 404K on it. Cab is the typical Volvo integral 61__ sleeper style with a mid height roof. You can stand up and move from the driving compartment to the sleeping compartment. The vehicle is operable as a motor home and if licensed as such does not require a CDL. (in our state at least) I__ve chosen to keep it licensed at 26K as a truck so I could use it occasionally to move my backhoe. When in use as an R.V. I have removable signs we post on the front bumper and both sides identifying it as __For RV use only, Not for hire__ We have traveled throughout the northwest and mid west as far as Missouri and had no questions or problems with any weigh stations or ports of entry. Fuel mileage runs from 7 to 12, depending on road conditions etc. It drives like a dream, offers excellent visibility, breaking power, no overheating problems as w/ pickups and handles the trailer and Tracker well.1995 Geo Tracker. 4X4, 2 door with an Astro hard top conversion.. It is red to match the truck, shows 113487 miles on it the big majority of which are towed miles. We towed it behind a motor home until we got smart and went with the truck and started hauling it. This little vehicle is in excellent original condition, never wrecked. Tires are at about 40 percent. It has a custom built heavy front bumper. Maintenance needed that I__m aware of is the front windshield is cracked and the driver door window riser is sticky. Note that this is a package offering. Each unit has been modified in various ways to accommodate the other. The trailer has been beefed up to offer long life and high millage with a heavy frame and running gear. The truck allows the dingy to be hauled instead of towed. The Geo dingy can be loaded or off loaded without disconnecting the trailer. The truck bed can be removed and a commercial 5th wheel installed if you want to use it as a conventional tractor. This combination offers some flexibility which I__ve found useful.
